This one-of-a-kind item is made from the Tyvek destination sign (a rotating, changing destination sign on the front of a bus) of an out-of-service UK London bus, and is hand-stitched one by one by skilled bag craftsmen in Kyoto, Japan.
This lightweight bag is a bucket-shaped tote with a round bottom and weighs approximately 170g. It is a cute item with a hint of colour from the colourful lining, and the contents can be easily seen and taken out with a single glance.
The bag is reinforced by hand-applying a non-woven fabric to the Tyvek inner side to increase durability.

Notes on purchase
The product is made of reused industrial materials from those days, and although the surface has been cleaned, there may still be stains and dirt on it. These are left as they are as part of the design texture. As this is a delicate product, washing is not recommended in principle as it may cause the product to lose its shape, but if it gets dirty, please pat it down with a soft cloth dampened with water. Colour may fade or migrate due to rain, water, perspiration or friction.?Take particular care when wearing light-coloured clothing such as white. Tyvek may soften or deform, so do not place near a fire such as a stove or in a high-temperature area.?Do not use an iron or hairdryer.?Keep out of sunlight as light (ultraviolet rays) may cause discolouration.?Please note that the alcohol content in disinfectant sheets, alcohol disinfectants, wet wipes, antiperspirant sheets, etc. may cause the dye to peel off or the colour to fade or discolour. The fibres of the white Tyvek fabric will become bristly due to friction.
