バスロールベア tie / BB-0005

英国・ロンドンのバスで役目を終えたデスティネーションサイン（行き先案内表示）を素材に、京都の職人が一点ずつ手作業で仕立てた、唯一無二のベアです。
1980〜90年代、赤い2階建てロンドンバスに実際に搭載されていたタイベック製のサイン生地を使用。
頭部やボディなど、それぞれのパーツに合わせて丁寧に裁断し縫製しています。
さらに一部には、1980年代の西陣織シルクのネクタイ生地を採用。
製造前の色見本として織られた希少なサンプル生地を組み合わせ、異なる文化と素材が静かに融合する佇まいに仕上げました。
すべて一点物のため、同じ表情のものは二つと存在しません。
素材が持つ背景とともに、長く寄り添っていただける存在となれば幸いです。

BusRoll Bear tie / BB-0005

This one-of-a-kind bear is made from a destination sign (a rotating destination sign on the front of a bus) that was no longer used on London buses in the UK, and is sewn by hand by craftsmen in Kyoto.
The Tyvek sign fabric, which was actually used on red double-decker London buses in the 1980s and 1990s, is cut and sewn according to the length of each part, such as the head and body.
The tie fabric used for the parts is Nishijin silk fabric from the 1980s.
The fabric is a fusion of rare sample fabrics woven for color samples prior to production.

Reinforced with non-woven fabric hand-applied to the inside of Tyvek for durability
