SANS-SERIF OBI preciousの特徴は「和を活かしながら、 和に拘らないデザイン」をテーマにしたバッグです。
役目を終えたロンドンバスの行き先案内表示、主に80〜90年代に赤い2階建ての車体に搭載された実物のロールサインと、呉服会社のコレクションとして約30年前から大切に保管されていた希少な西陣織の上質な金蘭を再利用して昇華させたバケツ型トートです。
グラフィカルな図案や色彩で表現されたキモノ帯を厳選し、鞄職人熟練の技によって１つずつ手作業で丁寧に縫い上げる限定生産プロダクトです。一本の帯から取れる枚数が限られているため、こちらは3本のみの限定生産になります。

底の丸いバケツ型トート、しっかりとした堅牢の高い帆布で型くずれしにくい成形です。着物や洋服それぞれのシチュエーションで自由に合わせて幅広いシーンでご使用いただけるアイテム。

《ご購入に関しての注意》
当時のキモノ帯をリユースしていますので、表面クリーニングはしておりますが、シミ、汚れ等が残っている場合があります。繊細なプロダクトですので、洗濯は型くずれの原因にもなることから、原則お勧めいたしておりませんが、帆布生地が汚れた場合は、薄めた中性洗剤をつけたやわらかい布で叩いて落としてください。帆布は多少色落ちする事がありますのでご注意ください。湿度の高い場所での保管は、カビの原因になります。汚れを落とし、風通しの良い光の当たらない場所に保管して下さい。


OBI precious Bucket Tote / Kinran

SANS-SERIF OBI precious features bags with the theme of "a design that makes use of “WA” but is not limited to it.
The bags are made from upcycled and sublimated materials: the destination signs of London buses, which are no longer in service, and the actual roll signs mounted on the red two-story car bodies mainly in the 80s and 90s, and obi fabrics that have been carefully kept as a kimono company collection for about 30 years, especially high-quality and highly rare fukuro obi (a type of obi belt). The bucket-shaped tote is made by upcycling and sublimating the fine and rare Obi fabrics, especially the high quality Fukuro obi.
Kimono obi with graphical patterns and colors are carefully selected and hand-stitched one by one by skilled bag craftsmen. Since the number of pieces that can be taken from one obi is limited, this product will be produced in a limited edition of only three.

A bucket-shaped tote with a rounded bottom, molded with firm and robust high canvas that does not easily lose its shape. This item can be used in a wide range of situations, freely adapted to kimono and clothing.

The handles are made from carefully selected tanned cowhide leather from a tannery in Himeji.

《Notes on Purchasing》
As this is a reused kimono belt from that time, the surface has been cleaned, but there may still be stains, dirt, etc. As a rule, washing is not recommended for this delicate product as it can cause it to lose its shape. However, if the canvas fabric becomes soiled, please pat it down with a soft cloth dampened with diluted neutral detergent. Please note that the colour of the canvas may fade slightly. Storing in a humid place may cause mould. Please remove stains and store in a well-ventilated, well-lit place.
